The Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA) represents the interests of local authorities in Wales, established to represent the interests of local government in Wales. Its members are the twenty-two local authorities in Wales – with four police authorities, three fire and rescue authorities, and three national park authorities in Wales as associate members.
We worked with the WLGA on a strategic feasibility study to develop the blueprint design and business case for a shared HR services model to support ten local authorities in South Wales. We have undertaken similar work on cross local government collaboration partnerships in North Wales, Kent and a number of London Boroughs.
